Clive Peeters Casula Store hosted a VIP Fundraising evening, Tuesday 24 March 2009 on behalf of the GO Research Fund.
The evening was made possible by the outstanding dedication of Clive Peeters Casula, Assistant Store Manager Nikhila Gopinathan and Business Development Manager Louise Lebreux with the assistance of staff and management.
The store was certainly buzzing and it was wonderful to see the Clive Peeters staff so engaged in helping to contribute to a vital cause.
The night was also well supported by NSW Police, Fire and Ambulance Services.
The highlight of the evening was the LG’s Ready Steady Cook with guest celebrity Chef Col Kennedy. Col supervised the cooking efforts of NSW Police Commissioner, Andrew Scipione, NSW Fire Brigade Assistant Commissioner, Steven Pearce and NSW Ambulance Service Chief Executive, Greg Rochford.
The Police, Fire and Ambulance representatives were afforded the assistance of Chef - Vanessa Weidenmann, Caterer - Tiffany Wright and Food Consultant - Bettina Jenkins, each was also assisted by an audience member.
Each contestant had 30 minutes to prepare a 3 course meal. The winner on the night was Greg Rochford, Chief Executive NSW Ambulance Service.
Natalie Newman who has been touched by ovarian cancer spoke of her fight and GO Research Fund Executive Member, Catherine Menage addressed the guests to enlighten them to the work of the GO Research Fund.
Live Auction – Clive Peeters NSW/ACT Sales Manager Craig Gee revved up the crowd to achieve a wonderful result for GO Research Fund, with all items donated by Clive Peeters suppliers.
Raffle - incredible prizes were on offer. Again these were all donated by Clive Peeters suppliers.
One lucky shopper won the Lucky Door Prize, a Homedics Chair donated by Homedics.
A magician, face painter and WII kept the children entertained while Mum and Dad enjoyed the shopping! , Police cars, Ambulance and Fire Engine were also on site, and no doubt a few of the youngsters were vividly imagining themselves driving these vehicles in the future..
