PROFESSOR NEVILLE HACKER - INTERNATIONAL AWARD

Professor Neville Hacker was the recipient of the IGCS (International Gynaecological Cancer Society) award for excellence in Gynaecologic Oncology.

Professor Hacker was presented with this award at the society’s biennial meeting in Bangkok in October this year. The meeting was attended by 2,500 participants.

This award recognises Professor Hacker’s contribution to not only the growth and the success of the IGCS, but also to the field of gynaecologic oncology.

The citation specifically acknowledged his major contributions in the fields of ovarian and vulvar cancer and to the development of the sub specialty of gynaecological oncology through the training of Fellows from many different countries.
